The first 30 days of our program suggests sending a signal to the body that good, nutritious food will be delivered on a regular basis throughout the day.
That means that the body will get out of any starvation mode it is in, which creates a “holding on” state. As humans, we need food, regularly throughout the day, but the right foods and the right amount.
Our clients are delighted they can eat more healthy foods and reduce their body’s weight, rather than depriving themselves.
Here is a list of healthy snack ideas. Eat these between three small meals.
Small handful of walnuts/almonds/pumpkin seeds (all raw and unsalted)
¼ cup of dried fruit like raisins, figs, apricots
½ Orange
½ Apple
½ cup Mixed berries
Yogurt, avoid added sugar and ingredients you can’t pronounce
Spoonful of peanut or almond butter and 2-3 small whole grain crackers
Broccoli with plain yogurt and a few teaspoons of salsa
Hard Boiled Egg
½ Protein bar (select those with natural ingredients)
2 cups mixed greens salad with oil/vinegar
Cucumbers with lemon juice
