Are you a stress eater?  Here is a quick method for finding out.  Start recording the foods you eat and your emotional state at the time.

For example:

  • Afternoon snack: bag of M&Ms
  • Emotional state: bored at work, need a break

THE SOLUTION: find a way to create the break you deserve without using unhealthy food.  You might take a walk around the building, go up and down stairs while daydreaming about the weekend or a vacation. Drink a tall glass of water with lime or lemon, or eat some protein. You might even get out a journal and write about the fact that you are bored at work, get those feelings out.
