Dallas Hypnosis for Weight Loss. Positive Withdraws or Negative Withdraws from your memory bank effect weight loss results.

David Schwartz PhD, the author of “The Magic of Thinking Big”, refers to the spiraling effects of negative thinking like going to your “memory bank” and making a negative withdraw based on similar experiences.  Rarely do we recall a positive event when something isn’t going right.

In the case of weight loss, or weight reduction as I like to call it, it is easy to draw from memories of other times it has been too hard and you gave up.  For example, you get sick and stopped going to the gym, you ate cake at a reception and it triggered your desire for sweets, you blew it at dinner by eating bread, so just got the desert!  All of these situations can be avoided by remembering that when you slip, you get back up.  Think about when you were learning your ABCs, multiplication tables, riding a bike, tying your shoe.  You didn’t give up because you got it wrong. And you learned all of these things.

When you slip, recall a time you succeeded at something, even if you have to reach back to 3rd grade…that was still you!

So the next time you start to rack up a bunch of negative thoughts, balance them out by recalling events and accomplishments that turned out the way you wanted.  You will find the strength to stick to your weight reduction program. Hypnosis can help make it easier though. Come see me for a session. 972-974-2094
