There are things we can control and things we can’t control. I think it is easier for us to have lists and when something we are experiencing one of the difficult things we remember which list it is on and then decide to “let it go.”
It is a decision and it can be hard or easy. Basically whatever we decide it will be it will be. Either hard or easy. Yes you are that powerful.
Maybe it helps to understand thoughts. There are 3 categories:
- Thoughts we can control
- Thoughts we can’t control
- Thoughts that are neutral
When we realized we can control our thoughts, we can take action on the “things we can control” list and let go of the negative worry pattern of the “things we can’t control” list.
Your thoughts are that powerful…after all it is the thought pattern you presently have that is effecting you so why not use that in a more positive way?
Hypnosis helps people to obtain that still and quiet place where they can without judgment see clearly who the two lists stack up and removing the emotion attached to them, see them in a new way.
