Focus on the results you want with each movement and get more out of the time you are investing in CARDIO.

Here are some easy ideas to implement.

1. Set the cardio equipment for the weight you want to be. You see visually your goal what and that way it affirms: “Yes I weigh ____.”
2. Create intentions such as “Each step I take is a step towards my goal,” “Each minute I walk is a minute of healthy living added to my life,” or “The sweat is that extra weight being released so I love to sweat.”

You have perhaps heard about setting an intention. Why is that important?

It easily connects your thoughts to a bodily response. For example: focus on your breathing, now think about changing the depth of your breath, the body easily responses to that thought. There is always communication from the brain to the body and then from the body to the brain. So rather than just walking and zoning out, bring your intention back to your routine and why you are doing it. Doing so send the right message and increases the effectiveness of the time you are investing.

Tip #12 Focus on what it is that you want from your CARDIO time then tell your body.
