quit smoking with hypnosis

Hypnosis to stop smoking works because it really doesn’t matter why a person started but why they want to stop.

Also it doesn’t matter how much a day they smoke, but what does matters is their commitment and motivation to stop.

Contrary to what some believe about hypnosis to stop smoking, the hypnotist doesn’t SNAP their fingers and say…YOU ARE NOW A NON SMOKER!

They do that, but not without first activating a memory of being a non-smoker and talking up the benefits of being smoke free so the motivation to stop is more exciting and beneficial than the motivation to continue.

Here are some interesting reasons people start smoking and continue smoking, sometimes for decades:

  • To keep the memory of my father (who smoked) alive.
  • To gain acceptance from older brothers and be the “big” girl.
  • To keep memory of porch swing time with deceased spouse.
  • To be accepted in a new crowd, new school.

All of these were easily released when the client in a state of hypnosis could see the decision made was done so on a different level and that it really didn’t make sense to continue.  Releasing that charge energetically frees one of the habit (along with hypnosis for release of the habit). Hypnosis works because the neural pathway to be a non-smoker gets activated by the visual imagery or feeling state and when that occurs, the neural pathway of the old smoking habit is weakened. The Law of Dominate Effect takes over from there.

Hypnosis to stop smoking works because what really matters is why they want to stop and in addition their commitment and motivation to stop.
