Medical Student Uses Hypnosis To Reduce High Levels of Test Anxiety and End Nervous Eating.

A Dallas medical student was experiencing high levels of test anxiety. On her first visit she reported the level of anxiety to be a 7 or 8, on a scale of 0 to 10 with 10 being very high levels. However, at the end of the second visit she reported it to be a 2 or 3. It was important to note that after lessening the anxiety, she was able to stop her habit of over eating.

Multiple successes is often the case with hypnosis since one negative emotion expresses in several behaviors.

The client was given a tool called an anchor to help continue to teach her body and brain the proper response during a test. The objective was to be clear minded and to have easy recall and also to have her body to be relaxed and comfortable. This was achieved in two hypnosis sessions. A follow up session will be conducted in 30 days after an important exam…the true test.
