If we identify ourselves in a certain way that seems beneficial for being overweight then it is difficult to lose weight unless with break that identification. What? Read that again and then continue….

Write Who You Are or Become with Body that is Leaner and Healthier. A new way to identify yourself.
Then start identifying with that person (the new you) by reading the list in the morning and at night just before sleep.
