Does Your Weight Make You Funny? Hidden? Popular?

Hypnosis helps with breaking your identification with your weight and how your weight defines you.

One of the 6 elements to permanent personal change is breaking our identifications with how we view ourselves in our current condition.

If we identify ourselves in a certain way that seems beneficial for being overweight then it is difficult to lose weight unless with break that identification. What? Read that again and then continue….
We all want to be accepted, funny,be well-liked, clever, etc, so if in grade school we were the class clown and also a little overweight we may feel our weight makes us funny, or we might identify the weight with being funny.

Or, in junior high we were the larger more muscular kid and always picked for the football team because of our size, we may identify our popularity with being larger than the other kids.

Or, if you were shy, adding the weight could (from your perspective) hide you from others.
And we bring those identifications with us into adulthood.

What we do in hypnosis is reverse that concept that you learned and begin to identify your adult self in a new way that allows the body to release the weight.

So, have you decided to lose weight?  That is the first step.

Once you have decided you no longer want to be overweight then begin to think about what it means about you to be lose the weight.

2nd step.
Write Who You Are or Become with Body that is Leaner and Healthier. A new way to identify yourself.

Then start identifying with that person (the new you) by reading the list in the morning and at night just before sleep.
