What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of EXERCISE?

How about the first thing that comes to mind when you think of BODY PLAY?

If that sounds more exciting then find a way to do that daily, here are some ideas:
walk around your block first thing in the morning,
silly dance with your kids or grandkids,
walk on a nature trail,
try yoga, pilates, martial arts, zumba, or dance class

Here are some other ways to move your body:
while standing rise up on your balls of your feet to strengthen your calves,
park further away from store,
take the stairs,
walk to the store,
take a 5 min walking break 3-4 times a day at work,
explore the halls, stairs, lobby area, and outside.

TIP #9 – FIND A NEW WAY TO MOVE YOUR BODY/It’s all exercise.

Sometimes if the word association results in a negative response a new word or phrase is in order. I like BODY PLAY, I heard it from a client of mine that had negative responses to the word exercise, so therefore didn’t do it. But Body Play got her out the door and in shape. Don’t you like the sound of that?

“Body Play.”
