Exercising is an essential part of any weight loss program. And the obvious benefit is to burn calories.

Here is a tip for getting even more benefit from your walking program it is called:

Walking in your neighborhood, at the park or on the trail, and picking up trash adds a little more work to an already exhilarating activity. Plus it is good for the community. You can make a game of it, like not stopping until you pick up XX numbers of cans/bottles.

Anytime you can add a challenge or make a game out of exercise it increases your motivation. So, grab the kids or grandkids, they know how to make everything fun. Let’s get everyone moving and clean up the area at the same time.
